400 KG Automatic Swing Gate Motor
The RIB KING EVO is designed for compatible swing gate leaves weighing up to 400 KG each. This makes it suitable for medium to large residential gates and compatible commercial swing gate installations.
For a double swing gate, each leaf must be considered separately. The motor capacity should be selected according to the weight and length of each individual gate leaf, not the combined weight of both leaves.

Actual suitability also depends on the gate geometry, hinge position, pillar dimensions, opening angle, wind exposure and operating frequency. These factors should be checked before selecting and installing the motor.

RIB B2-CRX Control Board
The RIB KING EVO can be combined with the RIB B2-CRX electronic control board for professional double swing gate automation.
The control system manages the two swing gate motors, opening and closing commands, automatic closing, pedestrian access, safety photocells, flashing light and compatible RIB radio-control accessories.
Single or Double Swing Gate Automation
The RIB KING EVO can be used for both single-leaf and double-leaf swing gate installations.
For a standard double swing gate, two KING EVO operators are installed – one motor for each gate leaf – and connected to a compatible control panel for synchronized automatic opening and closing.
Pedestrian Opening Function
With the compatible RIB control system, a pedestrian opening function can be configured so that only one gate leaf opens when full vehicle access is not required.
This is particularly useful for villas, residential buildings and commercial entrances where pedestrians regularly use the same entrance as vehicles.
Automatic Closing
The RIB control system can be programmed for automatic gate closing. After the programmed pause time, the gate can automatically close without requiring another remote-control command.
Automatic closing should be used together with correctly installed and tested photocells and any other safety devices required for the installation.
Photocell Safety Sensors
Compatible RIB photocell sensors can be connected to the KING EVO control system to provide additional protection during automatic gate movement.
The photocells detect interruption of the infrared beam and send a signal to the gate controller according to the programmed safety logic.
Manual Emergency Release
The RIB KING EVO incorporates a manual release system so the swing gate operator can be disengaged when manual gate movement is required.
This is useful during a power failure, maintenance or troubleshooting when automatic operation is temporarily unavailable.
RIB KING EVO 24V Version
A 24V version of the RIB KING EVO is also available for applications requiring frequent gate operation and optional battery backup.
RIB specifically recommends the 24V version for gates subject to heavy-duty and frequent opening and closing, such as apartment buildings.
Optional Battery Backup
The RIB KING EVO 24V can be combined with optional backup batteries. According to RIB, the system can perform up to approximately 40 cycles during a power failure under the specified operating conditions.
The 24V KING EVO can also operate normally without batteries. Battery backup is optional and should not be presented as standard equipment unless included in the supplied package.
