800 KG Automatic Sliding Gate Motor

The RIB K800 is designed for compatible sliding gates weighing up to 800 KG. Its higher capacity makes it suitable for larger villa gates and compatible commercial entrances where a smaller residential sliding gate motor may not provide sufficient capacity.

Gate weight should not be the only factor used when selecting a motor. Gate length, wheel condition, track alignment, rack condition, mechanical resistance and expected daily usage should also be considered before installation.

Built-In Electronic Control Board

The RIB K800 incorporates its electronic control system inside the motor housing, providing an integrated solution for automatic sliding gate operation.

The control system manages gate opening and closing, motor force, slowdown, electronic braking, pedestrian access, photocell safety functions and compatible radio-control accessories.

RIB L1-CRX Control Board

Current RIB K800 configurations with L1-CRX control electronics provide advanced automation functions including pedestrian opening and photocell auto-test.

The L1-CRX can manage up to 1000 RIB SUN or SUN PRO remote controls. Remote-control code memory can also be removed from the control board, simplifying maintenance or replacement of the electronic panel.

Gradual Start

The RIB K800 provides a gradual start function that allows the sliding gate to begin moving progressively instead of applying full movement immediately.

This helps provide smoother gate operation and reduces unnecessary mechanical shock to the motor, pinion, gear rack, wheels and gate structure.

Electronic Force Adjustment

The K800 provides electronic adjustment of motor force, allowing the installer to configure the automation according to the gate and installation requirements.

Excessive motor force should not be used to compensate for damaged wheels, poor track alignment or excessive mechanical resistance. The gate should move smoothly by hand before the automatic operator is installed.

Soft-Stop & Gate Slowdown

RIB K-series operators allow the sliding gate to slow down when approaching its end positions. This provides smoother and more controlled movement as the gate reaches the fully open or fully closed position.

Slowdown can also help reduce mechanical impact on the motor, rack and gate structure during everyday operation.

Electronic Brake

The RIB K800 incorporates an electronic braking function as part of its standard gate movement control.

This works together with gradual start and slowdown to provide more controlled operation of the automatic sliding gate.

Pedestrian Opening Function

The RIB L1-CRX control system provides a pedestrian opening command, allowing the sliding gate to open partially when full vehicle access is not required.

This is useful for villas, residential buildings and commercial properties where pedestrians need to enter without completely opening the sliding gate.

Photocell Auto-Test

The L1-CRX control system provides a photocell auto-test function for compatible safety equipment. RIB specifies this function in relation to the safety requirements of EN 12453:2017.

Correctly installed photocells help detect vehicles, people or objects within the protected gate area and form an important part of a safe automatic gate installation.

Up to 1000 RIB Remote Controls

The RIB L1-CRX control board can manage up to 1000 SUN or SUN PRO remote controls. This makes the system suitable not only for villas but also for residential communities and commercial properties where many authorized users may require individual transmitters.

The actual radio configuration should be selected according to the receiver and remote-control system installed with the motor.

Bluetooth & RIB APP Compatibility

The L1-CRX control panel can also be managed using compatible RIB Bluetooth APP or APP+ cards. These optional accessories provide additional control and programming possibilities for compatible installations.

Manual Emergency Release

The RIB K800 incorporates a manual release system that allows the sliding gate to be disengaged from the motor when manual operation is required.

Depending on the specific K800 version, RIB provides release options using a personalized key or Allen key.

Electromechanical or Magnetic Limit Switch

The RIB K800 is available with different limit-switch configurations. RIB currently offers K-series operators with a magnetic limit-switch system as well as the electromechanical version.

When ordering a replacement motor, limit switch or spare part, always check the exact K800 version installed at the site.

RIB K800 24V FCM FAST Version

RIB also offers a K800 24V FCM FAST version for applications requiring different performance and backup-power capability.

According to RIB, the K800 24V FCM FAST can perform approximately 30 cycles using two 2.2Ah batteries during a mains power failure.

Important: The K800 24V FCM FAST is a specific version and its specifications should not be mixed with the standard K800 motor.

Optional Motor Heating System

The L1-CRX system can be combined with the optional RIB ACG4665 heating accessory. RIB specifies this solution for operation in temperatures down to approximately -30°C.

This feature is primarily intended for extremely cold environments and is generally not required for normal UAE installations.
