RIB SUN 2CH is an original 2-channel 433 MHz gate remote control designed for compatible RIB automatic gate, garage door and access automation systems. Compact and easy to use, the SUN transmitter provides reliable wireless control together with RIB's POWER SAVER function and low-battery LED indication.
The RIB SUN remote control can be used as an additional or replacement transmitter for compatible RIB gate automation systems. It is suitable for sliding gates, swing gates, automatic barriers and other RIB systems equipped with a compatible 433 MHz radio receiver or control board.

RIB SUN 2 Channel Remote Control
The RIB SUN 2CH provides two independent channels, allowing the transmitter buttons to operate compatible functions according to the receiver and control-board programming.
For example, one channel can be programmed for the main automatic gate while another can be assigned to another compatible gate, garage door or automation function where the installed RIB receiver supports it.
433 MHz RIB Gate Remote
The RIB SUN 2CH is part of RIB's 433 MHz radio-control system. RIB provides dedicated manuals for the SUN 433 2CH and SUN 433 4CH transmitters.
Before ordering a replacement remote, always confirm the model and radio system of the existing transmitter and receiver. The same operating frequency alone does not guarantee compatibility with an unrelated radio-control system.
Continuous 1-Second Transmission
The RIB SUN uses a continuous-tone transmission system. Whenever a button is pressed, the transmitter sends a radio command for approximately 1 second, even if the button itself is pressed only briefly.
This provides a consistent radio command to the compatible receiver during normal gate operation.
RIB SUN POWER SAVER
The SUN transmitter incorporates the RIB POWER SAVER function to help protect the remote-control battery.
If a button remains pressed for more than approximately 8 seconds, the transmitter automatically switches off and subsequently starts again with a new impulse. This helps prevent unnecessary battery discharge when a button is accidentally held down.
Low Battery LED Indicator
The RIB SUN includes an LED battery-status indication. During a normal command, the LED remains steadily illuminated.
If the LED begins flashing during operation, RIB recommends replacing the battery soon. If the LED does not illuminate when the button is pressed, the battery may be discharged and the command will not be transmitted.
Unique Factory Programmed Code
Each standard RIB SUN remote control is supplied with a unique code programmed at the factory. This code is used by the compatible RIB receiver to identify the transmitter.
The SUN code can also be changed manually by following the appropriate RIB programming procedure.
Copy RIB MOON 433 Remote to SUN
The RIB SUN can be used to copy the code from a compatible RIB MOON 433 remote control. This is useful when replacing an older MOON transmitter with a newer SUN remote.
Compatibility and programming should be checked before ordering, particularly on older RIB installations where different receivers or coding systems may have been used.
