UHF RFID Long Range Reader 15M is a professional long-distance RFID reader designed for vehicle access control, automatic gates, parking barriers and parking management systems. With an identification distance of up to 15 metres, the reader enables fast and contactless vehicle authentication without requiring drivers to stop and manually present an access card.

Using passive UHF RFID technology and supporting ISO18000-6C (EPC Gen2) compatible tags, the reader is suitable for residential compounds, commercial buildings, office parking, warehouses, factories, logistics centres and other controlled vehicle entrances throughout the UAE.

Technical Specifications

15 Metre Long Distance RFID Identification

The reader provides RFID identification at distances of up to 15 metres when used with suitable UHF RFID tags and correctly installed equipment. This allows authorized vehicles to be identified before reaching the gate or parking barrier.

Actual reading distance depends on the RFID tag type, mounting position, antenna orientation, RF settings, surrounding environment and installation conditions.

RFID Vehicle Access Control

A 15M UHF RFID reader is particularly suitable for hands-free vehicle access. A compatible passive RFID windshield tag or vehicle tag can be installed on each authorized vehicle.

When the vehicle approaches the entrance, the reader identifies the authorized tag and sends the relevant data to the compatible access-control system, allowing the automatic gate or parking barrier to be activated according to the system configuration.

Parking Barrier RFID Reader

The reader can be integrated with compatible automatic parking barriers to create a convenient RFID vehicle-entry system for residential buildings, commercial parking facilities, staff parking areas and private vehicle entrances.

This type of system can reduce the need for drivers to use handheld remote controls or stop at a conventional proximity card reader.

Automatic Gate RFID Access
