The DEA GT2 provides two independent radio-control channels. Depending on the receiver and control-board configuration, the two buttons can be assigned to different compatible automation commands.

For example, one button may operate the main automatic gate while the second button may be assigned to another compatible gate, pedestrian-opening command or separate DEA receiver output.

433.92MHz Rolling-Code Remote

The DEA GT2 operates at 433.92 MHz and uses rolling-code technology. Unlike a basic fixed-code transmitter, rolling-code systems use changing radio codes during operation to provide improved security for compatible automatic gate installations.

Important: A 433.92 MHz frequency alone does not guarantee compatibility. The receiver and coding technology must also be compatible with the DEA GT2 transmitter.

DEA GT2 Remote Operating Range

The stated transmission range of the DEA GT2 is approximately 50 to 150 metres. Actual remote-control range varies according to the receiver installation, aerial position, surrounding buildings, radio interference and other environmental conditions.

A correctly positioned outdoor tuned aerial can help improve reception where additional operating range is required.

DEA GT2 Remote Programming

The DEA GT2 must be programmed into a compatible DEA receiver before it can operate an automatic gate. The exact programming procedure depends on the DEA receiver and control board installed with the gate motor.

When replacing an existing transmitter, confirm the original remote model, frequency and receiver type before ordering. A remote with the same frequency but a different coding system may not be compatible.
