The BOB50M combines strong mechanical performance with reliable and quiet operation. Its adjustable opening and closing mechanical stops simplify installation, while the convenient top-access manual release provides easy manual operation when required.

Swing Gate Motor for Gates Up to 5 Metres Per Leaf

The BENINCA BOB50M is officially designed for swing gate leaves measuring up to 5.0 metres. For a conventional double-leaf swing gate, one BOB50M actuator is normally installed on each gate leaf.

For large gates, motor selection should not be based on leaf length alone. Gate weight, hinge geometry, wind exposure, gate infill, required opening angle and operating frequency must also be considered.

Powerful 3500 N Maximum Thrust

The BOB50M delivers up to 3500 N maximum thrust, providing significantly more force than smaller BOB-series actuators and making it suitable for correctly installed large swing gates.

The combination of 3500 N thrust and a long actuator stroke makes the BOB50M particularly suitable for large villa, compound and commercial gate entrances.

455 mm Long Stroke

The BENINCA BOB50M features a 455 mm standard stroke and up to 520 mm maximum stroke. This long travel provides greater installation flexibility on large swing gates and wider gate pillars.

BENINCA specifies an opening time of approximately 26 seconds. Actual gate movement time can vary according to installation geometry and opening angle.

Adjustable Opening & Closing Mechanical Stops

A major feature of the BOB50M is its two adjustable mechanical stops for the opening and closing positions. These integrated stops allow the installer to accurately configure actuator travel according to the gate installation.

This makes installation and adjustment more convenient while providing reliable mechanical positioning of the gate.

Reliable & Quiet Operation

BENINCA designed the BOB50M as a reliable and quiet electromechanical geared motor for professional swing gate automation. Its robust mechanical construction is suitable for large entrances requiring dependable automatic opening and closing.

Easy Manual Release from Above

The BOB50M provides convenient access to its manual release mechanism from above. This allows the actuator to be released so the gate can be moved manually during a power failure, emergency or maintenance procedure.

External BENINCA Control Unit

The BOB50M does not contain a built-in control board. One or two motors must be connected to a compatible external BENINCA 230V swing gate control unit.

Compatible options include BENINCA control systems such as HEADY, BRAINY and BRAINY PLUS, depending on the required installation functions and accessories.

BENINCA BRAINY PLUS Smart Control Options

For more advanced installations, BENINCA BRAINY PLUS provides professional control functions including an integrated LCD display, 433.92 MHz receiver, separate electronic torque adjustment, adjustable slowdowns, automatic operating parameter setup, configurable safety inputs and ESA+ energy-saving functionality.

The current BENINCA platform is also prepared for X.BE KNX and Q.BE MQTT accessories. With compatible electronics and the pro.UP accessory, the BeUP app can be used for configuration, diagnostics, firmware management, gate status checking and commands.
