The NICE THOR 1500 is designed for compatible heavy sliding gates weighing up to 1500 KG. This higher gate capacity makes the TH1500 suitable for large villa gates, commercial properties, warehouses, factories and other entrances where smaller residential gate motors may not provide sufficient capacity.

Gate weight is only one factor when selecting an automatic gate motor. Gate length, wheel condition, track alignment, gear rack condition, mechanical resistance and expected operating frequency should also be checked before installation.

Sliding Gates Up to 12 Metres

The NICE TH1500 can automate compatible sliding gate leaves measuring up to 12 metres. The gate must be correctly balanced and should move smoothly by hand before the motor is installed.

Worn gate wheels, damaged tracks, incorrect alignment or excessive mechanical resistance should be repaired before automatic operation.

230V Heavy-Duty Gate Motor

The THOR 1500 uses a 230V AC single-phase asynchronous motor. NICE specifies approximately 350 W normal power absorption, with peak power reaching approximately 500 W.

The TH1500 should therefore not simply be described as a 500 W continuous motor. For accurate technical information, use 350 W absorbed power / 500 W peak power.

NICE ROA37 Control Unit

The NICE THOR 1500 uses the NICE ROA37 integrated control unit. The ROA37 manages opening and closing commands, automatic closing, photocell safety functions, motor-force adjustment and compatible radio-control functions.

The ROA37 provides a straightforward control platform for the TH1500 230V sliding gate operator.

Electronic Force Adjustment

The THOR 1500 control system provides electronic adjustment of the motor force. This allows the installer to configure the operating force according to the gate condition and installation requirements.
