The CENTURION D20 SMART is designed for very heavy sliding gates weighing up to 2000 kg. Its 2-ton capacity makes it suitable for demanding industrial and commercial entrances where standard residential or light-commercial operators are not powerful enough.
Typical applications include factory gates, warehouse entrances, logistics facilities, industrial compounds, commercial yards and heavy vehicle access points.

The D20 SMART is rated for up to 750 gate operations per day under the manufacturer's specified operating conditions. This high daily operating capacity makes it suitable for frequently used industrial entrances.
The duty cycle with mains present is approximately 45%, providing strong performance for high-traffic gate automation.
Strong 52 kgf Starting Push Force
The D20 SMART provides up to 52 kgf starting push force and approximately 39 kgf rated running force. This higher force capability allows the motor to automate gates substantially heavier than the D10 SMART.
The gate must still move freely by hand before automation. A powerful motor should never be used to compensate for damaged wheels, poor track alignment or excessive mechanical resistance.
Gate Speed Up to 18 m/min
The CENTURION D20 SMART provides speeds of up to approximately 18 metres per minute. Speed can be configured slower according to installation requirements and gate conditions.

24V Battery Backup Industrial Gate Motor
The D20 SMART uses a 24V DC battery-driven motor system. The standard configuration uses two 12V 7.2Ah batteries, allowing the gate to continue operating during mains power failures when the batteries are correctly installed and maintained.
The charger provides approximately 1.8A at 27.6V and supports battery operation during outages.

Built-In 433.92MHz Receiver
The D20 SMART incorporates a 433.92 MHz CENTURION rolling-code multichannel receiver using Keelog encryption.
The onboard receiver stores up to 1,500 remotes, making the system suitable for industrial sites, staff parking entrances and multi-user commercial vehicle access systems.
Electronic Collision Detection
The D20 SMART features electronic collision sensing to detect abnormal resistance during gate movement.
For a complete industrial gate installation, suitable photocell sensors, safety edges and other safety equipment should also be used according to the site risk assessment and gate configuration.
13T Module 4 Drive Pinion
The CENTURION D20 SMART uses a 13-tooth Module 4 drive pinion. The sliding gate rack must therefore be compatible with Module 4 gearing and correctly aligned with the motor.
For a 2-ton industrial gate, rack quality, gate wheels, track condition and gate alignment are especially important.
Lockable Manual Override
