The EAGLE ARTEK combines a slim 120 × 50 × 50 mm housing with electronically adjustable detection fields, simple push-button programming and advanced filtering designed to reduce unwanted activations. 24.15 GHz Microwave Radar Technology

The BEA EAGLE ARTEK uses professional 24.15 GHz microwave radar technology to detect pedestrian movement in front of an automatic entrance. When approaching movement enters the configured detection zone, the sensor sends an activation signal to the compatible automatic door controller.

Unidirectional Automatic Door Opening

A key feature of the EAGLE ARTEK is unidirectional opening detection. The sensor can focus on approaching pedestrian movement instead of unnecessarily activating the door for people moving away from the entrance.

This helps optimise automatic door opening and closing cycles and can reduce unnecessary door operation and associated energy loss.

Electronic Detection Field Adjustment

The EAGLE ARTEK provides convenient electronic detection-field adjustment. Unlike older radar sensors that may require manual antenna changes to alter the field shape, the ARTEK allows flexible configuration using its push-button controls.

Wide & Narrow Detection Fields

The sensor supports different detection-field configurations to suit the entrance layout. BEA specifies a maximum wide field of approximately 4m × 2m and a narrow field of approximately 2m × 2.2m at a 2.2m installation height under specified conditions.

This allows the sensor to be adapted to wide commercial entrances as well as narrower automatic door openings.

The EAGLE ARTEK supports 12–24V AC and 12–24V DC supplies, allowing integration with many professional automatic door operators. Maximum power consumption is less than 1 watt, making it an efficient automatic door activation sensor.

Solid-State Relay Output

The sensor uses a polarity-free solid-state relay output with a maximum switching rating of 30V AC / 42V DC and 100mA resistive. Always verify the automatic door controller activation input before wiring.
