24.150 GHz Microwave Radar Detection
The BEA EAGLE 5+ uses microwave radar technology operating at 24.150 GHz to detect movement approaching an automatic entrance. When the programmed movement is detected, the sensor sends an activation signal to the compatible automatic door operator.
Directional Automatic Door Detection
Directional detection allows the sensor to distinguish movement according to direction. When configured for unidirectional detection, the sensor can focus on approaching pedestrian traffic and reduce unnecessary activation caused by people moving away from the entrance.
This can improve automatic door efficiency in busy commercial entrances where frequent unnecessary openings are undesirable.
Adjustable Radar Detection Field
The EAGLE 5+ detection area can be adjusted according to the automatic door entrance and installation conditions. Proper adjustment helps create an effective activation zone while reducing unwanted detection outside the required entrance area.
