Swing Gate Motor for Leaves Up to 3.5 Metres
The ROGER R20/510 is designed for compatible swing gates with individual gate leaves measuring up to 3.5 metres. This makes it suitable for medium and large villa gates, residential entrances and compatible commercial swing gates.
For a double swing gate, one R20/500 actuator is installed on each gate leaf. The maximum 3.5-metre specification applies to each individual leaf and should not be interpreted as the total width of both leaves.
230V Electromechanical Swing Gate Operator
The R20/500 is a 230V AC irreversible electromechanical actuator. Its robust linear drive system provides dependable automatic opening and closing for compatible swing gates.
The irreversible gearbox keeps the actuator mechanically engaged during normal operation, while the manual release system allows the gate to be operated manually when required.
2500N Maximum Thrust
The ROGER R20/500 provides up to 2500N thrust, giving the linear actuator the mechanical force required to operate compatible swing gate leaves.
The gate should always move freely on its hinges before automation. Excessive motor force should never be used to compensate for damaged hinges, incorrect alignment or excessive mechanical resistance.
520 mm Actuator Stroke
The R20/500 provides a substantial 520 mm actuator stroke. Correct front and rear bracket positioning is essential to obtain the required gate opening angle and smooth actuator movement.
Installation geometry should be calculated according to the gate hinge position, pillar dimensions and required opening angle.
27 Second Opening Time
The ROGER R20/500 has an opening time of approximately 27 seconds with a nominal movement speed of 1.66 cm/s.
Actual gate movement can depend on installation geometry, gate dimensions and the configured control system.
Opening Microswitch Limit Switch
The R20/500 is supplied with one microswitch limit switch for the opening position. This allows the actuator to establish the required opening position when correctly installed and adjusted.
An optional MC770 closing microswitch kit is available when a closing limit switch is required for the installation.
H70/200AC/BOX Control Board
The official ROGER R20/510 kit includes the H70/200AC/BOX electronic control unit. It is designed to control two 230V AC swing gate motors and provides slowdown functions for professional double-leaf gate automation.
The controller can be combined with compatible radio receivers, remote controls, photocells, flashing lights and other gate automation accessories.

433.92 MHz Remote Control System
The official R20/510 kit includes the H93/RX433/I plug-in receiver and two T80/TX2 remote controls.
The receiver operates at 433.92 MHz and supports compatible fixed-code and rolling-code operation. The T80/TX2 is a 2-channel transmitter with compatible code-copy functionality.
ROGER R90 Photocell Sensors
The factory kit includes one pair of ROGER R90/F2ES synchronized external photocell sensors. Photocells provide an important safety input by monitoring the protected gate entrance.
When the infrared beam is interrupted, the photocells signal the gate control system, which responds according to the programmed safety logic.
ROGER FIFTHY/230 Flashing Light
The official R20/510 kit includes the ROGER FIFTHY/230 LED flashing warning light with integrated antenna. The flashing light provides a visible warning while the automatic swing gate is operating.
