Nice BlueBUS 2-Wire Technology
The major advantage of the NICE EPMB is its BlueBUS communication system. Compatible photocells are connected to the automation control unit using only two wires.
The same BlueBUS pair provides the required power and carries communication signals between the safety devices and compatible Nice control unit. BlueBUS wiring does not require polarity, helping simplify installation and reduce wiring errors.

The NICE EPMB provides an estimated operating range of up to 15 metres, making it suitable for most residential and commercial automatic gate entrances.

Automatic Gate Safety Sensor
The EPMB transmitter and receiver create an infrared safety beam across the gate entrance. When a vehicle, person or object interrupts this beam, the BlueBUS system communicates the obstacle condition to the compatible Nice control unit.
The response of the automation depends on the control-panel programming and the function assigned to the photocell pair.
Automatic Photocell Synchronization
