FAAC XLED 230V is an original FAAC LED flashing warning light designed for automatic gates, swing gates, sliding gates and compatible parking barrier automation systems. Powered from 230V AC, the XLED uses an automatic internal flashing circuit to provide a highly visible warning signal whenever the connected gate automation is operating.

Equipped with 40 high-brightness LEDs, IP54 protection and an integrated 433 MHz / 868 MHz antenna, the FAAC XLED combines gate movement signalling and radio antenna functionality in one compact accessory.

FAAC XLED Technical Specifications

230V Automatic Gate Flashing Light

The FAAC XLED 230V is designed to provide a clear visual warning while an automatic gate or barrier is operating. On a compatible 230V installation, the XLED provides automatic internal flashing, allowing the lamp to flash without requiring the control board to generate the flashing sequence.

This makes it suitable for many FAAC 230V gate automation systems where a dedicated flashing-light output is available.

40 High-Brightness LEDs

The FAAC XLED incorporates 40 high-brightness LEDs to provide strong visual signalling during automatic gate movement. The LED design provides good visibility while eliminating the conventional lamp bulb used in older flashing warning lights.

The warning light helps pedestrians, drivers and property users recognize when an automatic gate or barrier is operating.

Integrated 433MHz & 868MHz Antenna

One of the main advantages of the FAAC XLED is its integrated radio antenna. The antenna supports both 433 MHz and 868 MHz frequencies, allowing it to be connected to a compatible FAAC radio receiver.

FAAC specifies that the integrated antenna can receive both frequencies and recommends a maximum coaxial cable length of 5 metres between the XLED antenna and compatible receiver.

Improved Gate Remote Reception

Using the integrated XLED antenna can help provide better radio reception than positioning a receiver antenna inside a metal gate motor enclosure, particularly where the installation environment reduces radio signal strength.

Actual remote-control range depends on the transmitter, receiver, antenna installation, surrounding structures and radio interference.

IP54 Outdoor Protection

The FAAC XLED has an IP54 protection rating and an operating temperature range from -20°C to +55°C. It is designed for outdoor gate automation installations when correctly installed according to FAAC requirements.

FAAC XLED for Sliding Gate Motors

The FAAC XLED can be used as a movement warning light with compatible FAAC automatic sliding gate motors. It provides a visible flashing signal whenever the gate automation is operating.

It is particularly suitable for compatible FAAC 230V sliding gate systems including FAAC 740 and FAAC 741 installations.

FAAC XLED with FAAC 740 & 741

The FAAC XLED is an appropriate warning-light accessory for compatible FAAC 740 500 KG and FAAC 741 900 KG sliding gate automation installations.

For a complete automatic gate system, the XLED can be installed together with the gate motor, FAAC remote receiver, remote controls, photocell safety sensors and other required automation accessories.

FAAC XLED Installation

The XLED can be installed in a clearly visible position on a gate pillar, column or suitable side mounting surface. The location should allow the warning light to be easily seen by people and vehicles approaching the automatic entrance.

If the integrated radio antenna is used, connect it to the compatible receiver using suitable coaxial cable. FAAC specifies a maximum antenna cable length of approximately 5 metres.
