800 KG Sliding Gate Automation
The BFT DEIMOS AC A800 is designed for sliding gates weighing up to 800 kg. Its higher capacity makes it suitable for larger residential gates, compounds, warehouses and light commercial entrances where a 600 kg operator may not provide sufficient capacity.
Motor selection should consider more than gate weight. Gate length, wheel condition, track resistance, rack alignment, wind exposure and expected daily operating frequency should all be evaluated before installation.
230V AC Sliding Gate Motor
The DEIMOS AC A800 uses a 230V AC motor with approximately 300 W power consumption. This provides a robust conventional automation solution for installations where a 230V sliding gate operator is preferred.
BFT SHYRA-F Control Unit
The DEIMOS AC A800 uses the BFT SHYRA-F control system. The control board manages the sliding gate motor and provides connections for compatible command and safety accessories.
The dedicated SHYRA-F 800SLDN control-board family supports functions including pedestrian opening by radio control, quick-lock and pulse-lock functions, LED fault diagnostics, removable terminal blocks and an incorporated dual-channel receiver.
Electronic Clutch Protection
Unlike the DEIMOS AC A600 specification that uses a mechanical clutch, the DEIMOS AC A800 uses an electronic clutch for impact reaction.
This is an important difference between the two 230V DEIMOS models and should be retained in the product specifications.
9 Metres Per Minute Gate Speed
The DEIMOS AC A800 moves the sliding gate at approximately 9 metres per minute, providing reliable conventional-speed operation for residential and commercial entrances.
Electromechanical Limit Switches
The operator uses electromechanical limit switches to establish the fully open and fully closed gate positions. Correct installation and adjustment of the limit-switch brackets are essential for accurate stopping at both ends of the gate travel.
Manual Release During Power Failure
The DEIMOS AC A800 uses mechanical locking during normal automatic operation. If electrical power is unavailable, the operator can be disengaged using its lever-operated manual release with personal key.
This allows the gate to be manually opened or closed when necessary.
