The BFT DEIMOS AC A600 is designed for sliding gates weighing up to 600 kg. Its 230V AC motor and robust mechanical transmission make it suitable for residential and light commercial automatic gate installations.
Correct motor selection should also consider the gate length, wheel condition, track resistance, rack alignment, wind exposure and expected number of daily operating cycles.
BFT SHYRA AC Control Unit
The DEIMOS AC A600 uses the BFT SHYRA AC control unit to manage the automatic sliding gate system.
The control unit provides the electronic interface for motor operation and compatible gate automation accessories such as remote-control receivers, photocell safety sensors, flashing warning lights, push buttons and other command devices.
Mechanical Clutch
The BFT DEIMOS AC A600 uses a mechanical clutch for impact reaction. This differs from the electronic D-Track system used by the 24V DEIMOS BT A600.
The clutch should be correctly adjusted during professional installation according to the gate characteristics and applicable safety requirements.
9 Metres Per Minute Gate Speed
The DEIMOS AC A600 provides a sliding gate speed of approximately 9 metres per minute. This provides reliable conventional-speed operation for villa, residential and light commercial entrances.
Electromechanical Limit Switches
The operator uses electromechanical limit switches to determine the fully open and fully closed positions of the sliding gate.
Correct positioning and adjustment of the limit-switch brackets are important to ensure accurate stopping at both ends of the gate travel.
Manual Release During Power Failure
The DEIMOS AC A600 incorporates mechanical locking during normal automatic operation. If mains power is unavailable, the motor can be disengaged using its lever-operated manual release with personal key.
This allows the gate to be moved manually when required.
