Automatic Gate Safety Photocell
The BENINCA FTC.S photocell is used as a safety device in an automatic gate system. One photocell acts as the transmitter while the opposite unit receives the beam.
When a vehicle, person or other obstacle interrupts the photocell beam, the connected gate control system can respond according to its programmed safety logic, helping prevent unwanted gate movement while the entrance is occupied.

BENINCA Photocell Installation
The FTC.S transmitter and receiver should be installed facing each other across the gate entrance at an appropriate safety height. Correct alignment, wiring and control-board safety logic are important for reliable operation.
After installation, the photocell safety function should be tested during gate closing to confirm that interrupting the beam produces the intended response from the automation system.
