BENINCA JM.3 is a professional 24V DC automatic garage door opener designed for residential sectional garage doors with a maximum door surface area of 11 m². The JM.3 combines 600 N thrust, intensive-use operation, integrated control electronics, encoder technology and an integrated 433.92 MHz Advanced Rolling Code receiver.

The BENINCA JM.3 is designed for residential sectional garage doors with a maximum surface area of 11 m². Correct motor selection should consider the total door size, door balance, spring condition, track condition and operating frequency.

A sectional garage door should be correctly balanced mechanically before installing an automatic opener. The motor should automate the door movement rather than compensate for damaged springs or excessive mechanical resistance.

600 N Garage Door Motor

The JM.3 provides 600 N thrust for smooth automatic opening and closing of correctly balanced sectional garage doors.

Its 24V DC motor is designed for intensive use while the integrated control electronics continuously manage the movement and power required throughout the door travel.

6 & 12 m/min Adjustable Opening Speed

The BENINCA JM.3 supports opening speeds of 6 and 12 m/min. Opening speed can also be managed separately from closing speed through the integrated control electronics.

This provides greater flexibility when configuring the garage door for smooth, comfortable and safe operation.

Encoder for Precise Garage Door Movement

The JM.3 incorporates an integrated encoder that provides accurate monitoring of the garage door position throughout the opening and closing cycle.

The electronic limit-switch system uses encoder information to provide precise movement management and reliable stopping positions.

STC Intelligent Power Control

BENINCA's STC System dynamically manages motor torque according to the position and actual operating requirements of the garage door.

The system can identify points where additional force is required and automatically manage torque according to the measured performance of the door, improving movement precision and safety.

Anti-Crushing Obstacle Detection

The CP.J3-SW control system combines amperometric obstacle detection with encoder management. This provides anti-crushing protection by monitoring motor load and door movement during operation.

Photocell safety sensors can also be connected for additional entrance protection.

Integrated 433.92 MHz ARC Receiver

The BENINCA JM.3 incorporates a 433.92 MHz radio receiver capable of storing up to 64 compatible transmitters.

The current JM.3 receiver uses BENINCA Advanced Rolling Code (ARC) radio coding for secure remote-control operation.

Integrated 14-LED Courtesy Light

The JM.3 includes a built-in service light with 14 LEDs for high light output inside the garage.

The courtesy light can also be activated from a compatible transmitter in bistable or timed mode, allowing it to function as a practical ceiling light independently of door movement.

Optional Backup Battery Operation

Optional backup batteries can be integrated inside the JM.3 motor housing. BENINCA specifies support for 2 × 1.2 Ah batteries, allowing garage door operation during a mains power failure when the required battery charger and batteries are installed.

CP.J3-SW Integrated Control Unit

The BENINCA JM.3 includes the CP.J3-SW control unit. It supports automatic, semi-automatic and dead-man operating logic together with step-by-step, stop and photocell inputs.

The controller also provides automatic operating-parameter setup, electronic torque adjustment, separate opening and closing speed adjustments, adjustable slowdowns, flashing-light output and the ESA+ energy-saving system.

Smart Automation & BeUP Compatibility

The current JM.3 platform is prepared for connection of compatible X.BE KNX and Q.BE MQTT accessories.

Using the compatible PRO.UP interface and BeUP app, professional installers can access advanced programming, diagnostics, operation counters, firmware updates, radio-control management and system-status functions.

Quick Garage Door Connection System

The JM.3 uses a quick hooking system for connecting the operating arm to the garage door plate, helping simplify professional installation and servicing.

Door travel is adjustable using mechanical stops in the rail. BENINCA specifies one mechanical stop with belt rails and two with chain rails.
