RFID 125KHz / 13.56MHz Access Control Card Reader UAE

RFID Access Control Reader is a compact proximity card reader designed for door access control, security and identification applications. Available for compatible 125KHz RFID ID cards or 13.56MHz IC cards, the reader provides fast contactless card detection for residential, commercial and industrial access-control installations.

The reader operates from DC 5–16V, consumes less than 25mA and provides a card reading distance of up to approximately 15cm, depending on the card type and installation conditions. Communication options include RS232, TTL and RS485 for integration with compatible access-control equipment.

RFID Access Control Reader Technical Specifications

125KHz RFID Card Reader

The 125KHz version is designed for compatible low-frequency RFID identification cards such as supported EM-type proximity cards. It provides convenient contactless identification for compatible door access-control and security systems.

Before ordering, confirm the frequency and card technology already used by your access-control system.

13.56MHz RFID Card Reader

A compatible 13.56MHz version is also available for supported IC card applications. A 125KHz reader cannot normally read a 13.56MHz card, so the correct reader frequency must be selected for the cards being used.

Up to 15cm Card Reading Distance

The RFID reader provides a specified sensing distance of approximately 0 to 15cm. Actual reading distance can vary depending on the RFID card, frequency, installation environment and surrounding materials.

The fast reading response of less than 0.2 seconds provides convenient contactless identification for everyday access-control applications.

DC 5–16V Low-Power Operation

The reader operates from a flexible DC 5–16V power supply with working current below 25mA. This low-power design makes it suitable for integration with compatible access-control equipment and electronic security systems.

RS232, TTL & RS485 Communication

The reader supports multiple communication interfaces including RS232, TTL and RS485. RS485 operation includes active and passive modes according to the reader configuration.

Always confirm that the selected reader interface matches the controller or system to which it will be connected.

RFID Reader vs Standalone Access Controller

This product should be treated primarily as an RFID card reader. It is not the same product as a standalone RFID keypad/controller that directly stores users and operates an electric lock.

For installations requiring standalone user management, PIN access, relay output and direct lock control, select a suitable standalone access-control keypad/controller instead.
