8 Metre Garage Door Safety Photocell

The MARANTEC Special 630 provides an optical safety beam with a specified operating distance from 1 metre up to 8 metres. The transmitter and receiver are installed opposite each other so that the infrared beam passes across the garage door or automatic entrance.

If a person, vehicle or object interrupts the beam during door operation, the photocell sends the appropriate safety signal to the compatible control system.

Automatic Stop & Reverse Protection

When correctly connected and programmed with a compatible garage door controller, interruption of the Special 630 safety beam during closing can cause the automatic door to stop and reverse.

This provides an additional optical safety layer to help protect vehicles, people and objects from a closing automatic garage door.

MARANTEC 2-Wire Photocell Technology

A major advantage of the Special 630 is its 2-wire connection technology. MARANTEC combines the power supply, signal and testing functions through only two connectable wires.
