MARANTEC Digital 382 is an original 2-channel 868 MHz Multi-Bit remote control designed for compatible MARANTEC garage door openers, gate automation systems and radio receivers. This compact Mini hand transmitter uses MARANTEC Multi-Bit radio technology with two freely programmable buttons for convenient wireless control.
The current Digital 382, item number 122419, operates at 868 MHz and is supplied with a CR2032 3V lithium battery, wall bracket and coding plug. It can be used with compatible MARANTEC controls and with third-party automation systems equipped with the appropriate MARANTEC Multi-Bit receiver.

2-Channel MARANTEC Garage Door Remote
The MARANTEC Digital 382 provides two freely programmable function buttons. Each button can be assigned to an appropriate function supported by the connected MARANTEC Multi-Bit receiver.
Depending on the automation installation, the transmitter can be used to operate a garage door, automatic gate or another compatible radio-controlled function.
868MHz Multi-Bit Radio Technology
The current Digital 382 operates using MARANTEC 868 MHz Multi-Bit radio technology. It is a unidirectional transmitter, meaning the remote sends its radio command to the compatible receiver.
Important: Radio frequency alone does not guarantee compatibility. The installed receiver must support the appropriate MARANTEC Multi-Bit radio technology.
MARANTEC Digital 382 Remote Programming
The Digital 382 supports simple transfer of a programmed function from one compatible transmitter to another using the supplied coding plug.
This transmitter-to-transmitter copying method is useful when adding another compatible Digital 382 remote to an existing MARANTEC Multi-Bit automation system.
Transmitter-to-Transmitter Copying
MARANTEC designed the Digital 382 with plug-in contacts that allow a transmitter function to be copied directly from a previously programmed compatible transmitter to another transmitter using the appropriate coding plug.
The exact programming procedure should be followed according to the MARANTEC operating instructions for the transmitter and installed receiver.
CR2032 3V Battery
The MARANTEC Digital 382 uses one CR2032 3V lithium battery. The transmitter includes a red LED that provides a visible indication when a button is pressed.
When replacing the battery, install a suitable CR2032 battery with the correct polarity.
Compact Mini Remote Control
With dimensions of approximately 39 × 86 × 12 mm and a weight of only 20 grams, the Digital 382 is compact and convenient for everyday use.
An integrated eyelet allows the transmitter to be attached to a keychain or lanyard.

Compatible MARANTEC Automation Systems

Digital 382 Multi-Bit vs MARANTEC bi·linked Remotes
The Digital 382 is an 868 MHz Multi-Bit transmitter. It should not be confused with newer MARANTEC bi·linked transmitters such as the Digital 572 and Digital 564.
Even though different MARANTEC remotes may operate in the 868 MHz frequency range, their radio technology can be different. A Multi-Bit transmitter should therefore not be assumed to work with a bi·linked receiver.
Replacement MARANTEC Digital 382 Remote
The Digital 382 is suitable as an additional or replacement remote control for compatible MARANTEC Multi-Bit systems.
