The MARANTEC COMFORT 370 provides a maximum push and pull force of 850 N. It is designed for medium-to-large residential garage doors requiring more power than entry-level garage door openers while maintaining fast and smooth operation.

The motor can automate compatible garage doors weighing up to 185 kg. Door weight is only one factor when selecting an opener; door balance, springs, tracks, dimensions and mechanical resistance must also be checked before installation.

Fast 23.5 cm/s Garage Door Opener

One of the major advantages of the Comfort 370 is its speed. The operator reaches a maximum running speed of 23.5 cm/s (235 mm/s), allowing compatible garage doors to open quickly.

Marantec specifies a door-dependent opening time of approximately 9 seconds. Actual opening time varies according to the garage door height, rail length, programmed travel and installation conditions.

Garage Doors Up to 185 KG

The Comfort 370 is suitable for correctly balanced garage doors weighing up to 185 kg. This makes it an excellent choice for larger residential and villa garage door installations.

The garage door should move freely by hand before installing the motor. Damaged springs, worn rollers, misaligned tracks or excessive mechanical resistance should be repaired before automation.

For compatible overhead, up-and-over and canopy doors, the specified maximum width is 5 metres. Tilt and canopy doors can have a maximum specified height of approximately 2.25 metres.

24V DC Garage Door Motor

The MARANTEC COMFORT 370 uses a 24V DC motor powered through its integrated 230V mains control system. DC motor technology enables smooth speed control, soft starting and controlled stopping.

The operator provides separately adjustable opening and closing speeds, allowing fast opening while maintaining controlled closing operation.

Soft Start & Soft Stop

The integrated soft start and soft stop function reduces abrupt movement when the garage door starts and approaches its end positions.

Obstacle Detection Safety
