LIFE VISIO is a professional safety photocell system designed to detect obstacles in the movement area of automatic gates, doors, rolling shutters and parking barriers. With a maximum operating range of 20 metres and IP54 protection, LIFE VISIO provides an important safety function for residential, commercial and industrial automation systems.
The system uses a transmitter and receiver positioned across the entrance to create an infrared safety beam. When a vehicle, person or other obstacle interrupts the beam, the connected automation control system can respond according to its programmed safety logic.

How LIFE VISIO Photocell Sensors Work
The LIFE VISIO system consists of a transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX) installed opposite each other across the gate or entrance. The transmitter sends a safety beam to the receiver during normal operation.
If a person, vehicle or other obstacle interrupts the beam, the receiver changes its relay contact state. The connected gate control board then responds according to its programmed safety configuration, helping prevent unsafe gate movement.

LIFE VISIO photocells can be used with compatible LIFE automatic sliding gate systems. Typical applications include LIFE ACER gate automation where photocells are installed across the driveway to provide obstacle detection during automatic operation.

LIFE VISIO for Swing Gate Motors
The VISIO safety photocell system is also suitable for compatible LIFE swing gate automation, including LIFE OPTIMO OP3 UNI and OP5 UNI installations. Correct photocell positioning helps protect the entrance area while the swing gates are opening or closing.

LIFE VISIO for Parking Barriers
LIFE VISIO can also be integrated with compatible automatic parking barrier systems. The photocell beam can be positioned across the vehicle passage to detect vehicles or obstacles within the protected area.
Correct safety logic and photocell positioning should be selected according to the barrier control system and site requirements.
LIFE VISIO Installation
The transmitter and receiver should be installed opposite each other with correct alignment and an unobstructed optical path. Wiring should be connected to the appropriate power and safety terminals of the compatible automation control board.
After installation, the complete safety system should be tested to confirm that interruption of the photocell beam produces the required gate, door or barrier response.
