BFT COMPACTA A20-180 is a pair of original BFT hardwired infrared photocell safety sensors for automatic gates, garage doors and parking barrier automation. 20 Metre Automatic Gate Safety Photocells
The BFT COMPACTA A20-180 uses a transmitter and receiver positioned on opposite sides of the automatic entrance. An infrared beam is maintained between the two photocells.
When a vehicle, person or other obstacle interrupts the beam, the connected gate or barrier control system can respond according to its programmed safety logic.
The nominal operating range is up to 20 metres. BFT specifies that the effective range may be reduced by environmental conditions such as fog or rain.
180° Adjustable Photocell Head
A major advantage of the COMPACTA A20-180 is its 180° horizontal adjustment. Each sensor head can be rotated approximately 90° left or 90° right.
This provides greater installation flexibility and makes transmitter-to-receiver alignment easier on gate pillars, walls and other mounting surfaces where straight positioning may be difficult.
